
New version of iLink for iSynergy offers unique front-end integration with QuickBooks, ACT! and Microsoft Dynamics.

— iDatix — an emerging leader in the development of innovative business automation solutions — announces the release of iLink 3.8, the point-and-click integration module for iSynergy ®. iSynergy is iDatix’s complete Electronic Document Management, Information Management and Work Process Automation platform.
With iLink, users can create custom buttons and keyboard shortcuts within most applications, linking them to iSynergy and allowing users to execute user-defined queries, scan documents, or use barcode functions without the need to code or alter the application.
The new iLink boasts a complete re-engineering, user interface update and has the unique ability to be able to integrate iSynergy with Web-based applications like Microsoft Dynamics CRM and GP. In addition, iDatix has certified iLink to work with popular desktop applications Intuit QuickBooks and ACT! by Sage.
iLink 3.8 release highlights include:
• Web-application linking technology enables users to add a button or shortcut keys to most Web-based applications and query the iSynergy database for documents that have the index fields selected in the application.
• “Hot Field” shortcut keys that allow users to execute database queries from any application.
• “SMART Field” technology enables iLink’s ability to accurately link to any field within an application.
• “Anchor Groups” tie iLink buttons to specific windows or tabs within an application.
In addition to the above-mentioned enhancements, iLink is now click-once deployable from within iSynergy, reducing deployment and administration time for system administrators.
